The Segeser Hall has always been the representative parlour for important receptions or meeting at the Wart am See. This part of the current castle was burnt down around 1858. Since the castle is made of solid stone, only the stairwell, the attic and some furniture were burned. Apart from the roof ridge, also known as the turret, everything was restored to its original state. The namesake of the then magnificent hall was Kaspar Jakob Segeser from Bruneck, he bought the castle from the Blarer family in 1719 and owned it for 38 years.
Photographs from 1920 show a large grand piano, from which it can be concluded that the Segeser Hall also had a musical component.
