For groups of 10 people or more, we offer our special banquet menus . To guarantee a perfectly tailored experience, please contact our team so that we can plan your ideal menu together. Please note that à la carte orders are not possible for groups of this size. Of course, our menu options always include a vegetarian option so that all guests can find a selection to suit their taste.

For groups, we offer our TAVOLATA, which you can book in advance - a wonderfully uncomplicated way to get to know each other. Enjoy the pleasure of preparing and sharing food together, which goes particularly well with seminars. Discover other attractive offers in our banquet menu. Our event kitchen offers seasonal specialities such as barbecues in summer or fondue in winter — perfect for your next event.

Our hotel is conveniently located, whether you travel by car, train or plane.
Transport connections are excellent and parking facilities are available.

If available, you may start setting up or decorating earlier by prior arrangement with reception. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed and is often decided at short notice depending on the availability of the rooms.

Many of our visitors are curious to find out more about the time-honoured castle and its history.

Our bedrooms at Schloss Wartensee all have en-suite bathrooms with shower, body and hair shower gel, hairdryer and make-up mirror. TV and WLAN are available in the rooms. Many of our rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Outside the castle stands a half-broken blue cedar. We're often asked why we didn't just cut it down when a storm damaged it so badly.
We would be happy to tell you the story, pass by and have a look at it. We have attached a QR code to the tree that tells the story of this special tree.

Our hotel reception is open daily from 7:00 7am to 9pm. Our team will be happy to assist you during this time.  

At night, in the event of an emergency, hotel guests can use the telephone number displayed on the screen at reception. We are also available by telephone during these hours.  

Outside these hours, please feel free to email us and we will deal with your enquiry as soon as possible.

Civil weddings must always take place indoors, for which you can choose our chapel or the Gothic Room.

We are happy to hold free weddings both indoors and outdoors.
60 chairs are available for outdoor weddings. Other guests are welcome to sit on banquet benches.
We charge a flat rate of CHF 250.00 for setting up and dismantling outdoor weddings.

Each seminar room*) is equipped with an e-flip. For more information on the e-flip, click here.
A presentation kit is also available. Flipcharts, bulletin boards and whiteboards are available upon request.

Bistro BARion is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm opened.
Our kitchen is available to you from 11 am to 9 pm available.
Small menu from 2 pm to 5.30 pm.

When the weather is nice, the castle garden is from 11 am to 10 pm open for you. Our kitchen is available from 11 am  to 9 pm. From 2pm - 5.30 pm only Small Menu card available.
Please note that we celebrate many festivals, especially in the summer, and then the castle is available for exclusive use by our guests.

The restaurant in the castle is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11.30 to 14.00 and from 17.30 to 22.00. Orders can be placed until 21:00. (Closed on Sundays and Mondays).

Please note that we organise many events, especially in summer, and the castle is then exclusively available for our guests.

Guests are welcome to arrive between 2 pm and 9 pm.
An earlier arrival is of course possible, but occupancy to the room can only be guaranteed after 2 pm. If you arrive early, we'll be happy to store your luggage until your room is ready.

You will be warmly welcomed at our reception desk and given all the information you need for your stay.

Late arrivals are not a problem. Our reception is open until 9 pm. Guests arriving later can self check-in using a key code:

• Before you arrive, we will send you the code for the Digibox, which is located to the left of the front door.
• Enter the code and remove the key.
• Hold the badge against the doorknob until it flashes green.
• Turn the doorknob and open the door - Welcome to the castle!

The lift is located at the end of the corridor on the left side of the entrance hall.
Your room number is on the key, with the first digit indicating the floor you are on. You can then use the QR code in our hotel app to find more information about our hotel in your room.

Early Bird - takeaway breakfast:
For early risers, we offer an early bird breakfast to take away from 6 am. You can order a packed lunch from reception until 4 pm.

- Bircher muesli and fruit salad
- Different types of muesli
- Homemade jams and castle honey
- A selection of juices, castle water and various hot drinks

We are happy to accommodate special requests or diets if you book in advance.

Our overnight guests can book half board in advance or on site until latest 6pm of the same day.

Half board can be booked in advance or on the day. Every day we serve a 4-course surprise menu prepared by our chef. We can accommodate most allergies or special diets.

Half board can be booked for CHF 45.00 per person per day.

An E-Flip is an interactive display that can be connected to other devices via USB, HDMI, NFC, or screen mirroring to view or share content. For Apple devices, you need an adapter, which we will provide you with on site. Please note that screen mirroring is not possible with Apple devices.

Our reception is open for you between 7 am and 11 am.

Late check-out is possible subject to availability and at an additional cost of CHF 50.00.
For guests who leave early in the morning, we offer the option of paying the bill at reception the night before.

Only bed linen suitable for people with allergies is used throughout the castle.

Depending on the booked service, there are different cancellation conditions.

The currently valid cancellation conditions can be found directly in our General terms and conditions.

We offer both extra beds and baby cots. Our baby beds are foldable and have a sturdy edge, ideal for children up to 3 years of age who need protection against falling. They come with a lightweight mattress and private sheets and can be used free of charge.

Our extra beds are standard folding beds (90 cm x 200 cm) with mattress and bed linen and are suitable for both adults and children who do not need fall protection. Extra beds for guests aged 12 and over are subject to an additional charge.

No additional fall barriers can be offered for double beds or extra beds. Extra beds and baby cots can be reserved in advance. To do so, please contact our reception or reservation office.

There is no additional fall protection for double beds and extra beds.

The hotel's own car park is available to guests free of charge. It is located on the right-hand side of the driveway, approximately 200m from the entrance. A gravel path leads over the bridge directly to the castle.

You are welcome to park your car directly in front of the castle to load and unload your luggage, but please note that this is a short-term parking area. The large car park is available for longer stays.

Disabled parking is available directly in front of the castle and can be used with the appropriate permit.

Do you need toiletries or have you forgotten your charger?

At reception we can lend you a charger and provide you with various toiletries. Stop by and we'll be happy to help.

If you want to bring your dog or cat with you on your holiday, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Of course, your four-legged friends are welcome in all our rooms. On request, we will be happy to provide you with a water bowl.

We charge a supplement of CHF 25.00 per night (without bed and food) for your dog's overnight stay.

Other pets can be brought along by arrangement. However, please contact our reception in advance to discuss everything you need.

Just follow the stairs up from reception, past the Knight's Armour and into the Tower Lounge.

There you will find our 24-hour minibar with a selection of cold drinks, wines, snacks and our castle shop!

Help yourself to your heart's content, record your consumption by name or room number and enjoy some relaxing hours at the castle.

In one of the castle turrets, you will find a bicycle room, which you can use conveniently with your room key. Our staff will be happy to show you the way.

E-bikes can be charged there with your own charging cable.

Guests are welcome to leave their luggage at the reception.

For travellers arriving by train (SBB), we offer a convenient luggage transfer service, where luggage is collected from Rorschach station and taken to the castle. If you would like this service, please book at least 4 days in advance.

We do not have an in-house porter service, but our staff will be happy to assist you on request.

We have two e-bikes for our guests, which you can rent at reception for CHF 25.00 per day. Bicycle helmets and luggage baskets are provided.

For your outdoor event, we have three white pavilions (3m x 6m) available for hire, including assembly and dismantling for CHF 100 per pavilion.

Our team is extremely flexible and will be happy to adapt the set-up of the pavilions to suit your planning requirements.

Please note that speakers and other technical devices must be arranged by you.

During your stay, you can conveniently charge your vehicle at our e-charging stations. Here is the most important information:

• ‍Charging station type: Our type 2 charging stations are compatible with most electric cars.
• Cost: Hotel guests can use the charging station with their own credit card. Alternatively, you can pick up a card at reception and book the charging process directly to your room.
• Availability: Charging stations are available around the clock. As places are limited, we recommend booking in advance.
• ‍Login: To use the charging station, you will need your private login or a special card, which can be obtained at reception.

There are three charging points in our large car park, connected to the Swisscharge network. Our staff will be happy to help you use them.

Reservations are always required for groups of 6 or more.

We will set the tables for your event according to your wishes and to match the menu. You are welcome to order the decoration from one of our partners or a company of your choice.

Please note that stairwells and hotel corridors must be kept clear for safety reasons. Candles should be placed in such a way that the wax can be safely collected. Artificial flowers are permitted indoors; real flowers may be strewn outdoors. Additional cleaning costs will be charged at CHF 55.00 per hour.

The airport on the Old Rhine is only 10 minutes away by car and offers passengers the unique opportunity to spend the night with a view of Lake Constance.

The local taxi company offers guests a cost-effective transfer between the castle and the airport. On request and subject to availability, a transfer can also be arranged by the castle. For larger groups, we recommend booking the transfer at least two weeks in advance.

Our Schloss Exclusive offer allows you to hire the entire castle exclusively for 24 hours. Organise your event as you wish. Use the indoor and outdoor areas as you want. The 28 bedrooms and a hearty breakfast for your guests are also included in this offer.

Of course, we can also serve your dinner for an exclusive event in the castle garden on request.

If you would like a seating arrangement at round tables, we would be happy to rearrange the layout in the castle garden for you. We charge CHF 850 for the extra time.

Our tables have the following dimensions:

Diameter 150cm (for 8 people)
Diameter 170cm (for 10 people, two tables are available)

Rectangular tables:
75cm x 150cm (for 4-6 people) ‍

Schloss Wartensee is, of course, largely barrier-free.
The following rooms are wheelchair accessible: the BariON, the Bodenseesube, the Bergstube, the Segesersaal and the Blarersaal.

We also have a limited number of barrier-free rooms. For bookings or more information about these rooms, please contact our reception team who will be happy to assist you.

On request, we offer white seat covers with bows for CHF 8.00 per chair.

The bows are available in anthracite, pink, white, gold and salmon. Other colors are available upon request.

For safety reasons and due to the proximity of trees and the motorway, we ask for your understanding that balloons and sky lanterns are not permitted. As a nice alternative, you can fly wedding doves as a symbol.

Drones are welcome, but please note that we are in a no-fly zone due to the proximity of Altenrhein Airport. Drones must not weigh more than 250 grams and must be registered.

The following applies to fireworks: High-quality fireworks without wooden rockets are allowed with a permit from the municipality of Rorschacherberg. However, to protect wildlife, we recommend that you hire a professional fire artist.

After dinner, our event guests can make a reservation for the Tower lounge.
This cozy space is ideal for relaxing at the end of the evening. The thick castle walls provide excellent sound insulation and the room has a unique charm.

The service team will be happy to provide you with the drinks of your choice, or you can help yourself from the minibar just around the corner.
