As early as the Middle Ages, the Blarer Hall served as a meeting room. It owes its name to the Blarer family. The family lived at Wartensee Castle for 380 years and built the residential tower, which houses the Blarersaal. After the death of Apollonia von Sirgenstein, Diethelm's mother, the estate was divided in 1557.
The four brothers paid off their sister, which left three residential towers at Wartensee Castle. A brother took over the estate in the corner of the premises, and so the foundation stone was laid for Wartegg Castle. There are still rumors of an underground connection tunnel between Wartensee Castle and Wartegg, but we have no information about it.
With on-site kitchen for breaks during power days
Covering an area of 80 square metres, the Blarer Room can seat 32 people in a U-shape, 50 people in a classroom style or up to 120 people in concert seating. The room features a chandelier, seminar lighting and wheelchair access.
